Rims
Due to the extreme stresses of driving, cornering and high jumps, the rim design and materials used are extremely important. The right flexibility and stability allow the Louise RC wheels to withstand these extreme loads.
The Louise RC wheels are made from a blend of high quality nylon granules with additional fiber reinforcement where needed. These composite materials were developed by Dupont® specifically for Louise RC.

Tire inserts
The tires are mounted either with special preformed, or with cut-to-size foam inserts. The inserts are selected at an optimum density and dimension to ensure perfect cushioning and dimensional stability of the tire.

Mounted - Bonded
Due to the extreme loads, the tire must be firmly bonded to the rim. Louise RC takes the utmost care to ensure that the tires are properly bonded. For years, it has been searching for the best way to bond the tires not only well, but also cleanly. Today, Louise RC is considered one of the best in the RC industry. The tires are glued with a special rubber cyanoacrylate glue. This glue was specially developed for Louise RC to guarantee a perfect bonding that can withstand all extreme forces.

The following steps are performed in production at Louise RC to achieve perfect bonding;
- The rings of the tire to be bonded are lightly sanded and degreased.
- The surface of the rim to be bonded is lightly sanded and degreased.
- The tire is glued to the rim bed with cyanoacrylate adhesive using a special dispensing device. This ensures that the same amount of adhesive is always applied.
- The glued tire is pressed on for a certain time to ensure perfect adhesion and curing.
- Each tire undergoes a rotation and pull test to ensure a perfect bond.

RACING compound
Louise RC's racing tires are made from a special rubber compound that has high requirements for the grip the tire provides, but also for its wear. The racing tires are available in 2 different rubber compounds: soft and super soft. The tires also build up more grip when the ideal temperature is reached. Therefore, we always recommend to do some laps first to bring the tires up to temperature.
